Our Story

Small kit. Big intention.

Only The Brave started with a simple thought: why aren't affordable safety tools easier to find in India?

After experiencing harassment during her daily commute to college, our founder, Durga, went looking for personal safety products she could carry every day. She couldn't find what she was looking for, but the idea never left her.

Years later, she decided to build it herself.

Using her own savings and countless hours of work, Durga created Only The Brave to make personal safety more accessible for women. Every kit is thoughtfully put together, combining practical safety essentials with colours and designs you'll actually love carrying.

Created for the solo commute, the walk to your car, the late-night study session, and all the everyday moments where a little preparation can go a long way.

Product, Shipping & Self-Defense Usage Policy

By placing an order, you agree to the following terms.

  1. These products are intended strictly for self-defense purposes only.
  2. It is the customer's responsibility to familiarize themselves with all applicable national and state laws regarding the possession and use of self-defense tools, before purchasing or using these products.
  3. All orders are prepaid. We do not offer Cash on Delivery (COD).
  4. Orders are carefully packed and dispatched within 1–3 working days after payment confirmation.
  5. Once your order has been shipped, your tracking details will be shared with you via WhatsApp.
  6. Please ensure that your shipping address and contact details are accurate before placing your order. Once an order has been dispatched, we won't be able to make any changes.
  7. We do not accept returns, or provide refunds.
  8. If you receive a damaged package or a missing item, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. An unboxing video recorded from the moment the sealed package is opened is mandatory for any damage or missing-item claim. Claims without an unboxing video cannot be processed.
  9. If you are purchasing this product for someone else, please ensure that they understand how to use the tools safely and are aware of the applicable laws regarding their possession and use.
  10. If a package is returned to us due to reasons beyond our control — such as an incorrect address, unsuccessful delivery attempts, refusal to accept the package, or failure to collect it — the customer will be responsible for both the return shipping charges and the cost of re-shipping the order.
  11. If your damage claim is approved (with the required unboxing video submitted within 24 hours), we will ask you to ship the damaged product back to us. We will cover the return shipping cost. Once we receive and verify the returned item, we will send you a replacement.
  12. In most cases, your order will be delivered directly to your doorstep. However, in rare situations where your delivery location is considered remote or outside the courier partner's regular service area, you may be required to collect your package from the courier office. This is determined solely by the courier company and is beyond our control.
  13. If you are ordering a Mini Custom Set, the colours of the items will be selected by us based on current availability. While we do our best to create aesthetically matching combinations, specific colour requests cannot be guaranteed.
